Eydie Galper Grossman is a high-tech marketing and business development professional with experience in both start-up and large corporate environments. She was responsible for the launch of the pdQ Smartphone while at Qualcomm, the industry's first smartphone using the Palm Operating System. Eydie served as Director of Membership and Development at CONNECT, a regional program that catalyzes the creation of innovative technology and life sciences products in San Diego County by linking investors and entrepreneurs with the resources they need for success. CONNECT has assisted in the formation and development of more than 3,000 companies. Most recently she served as Vice President of Strategic Relations at the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), recruiting key business leaders from the public and private sectors to support the company's mission through membership contributions. Her current focus at the LAEDC is in managing all initiatives related to Green Technology with specific focus on developing the market for Electric Vehicles in Los Angeles County.
