Lauren Flanagan

Ms. Flanagan is Managing Partner of BELLE Capital, LP. As SCIO Corp's chief executive officer, Ms. Flanagan has more than 25 years experience in founding and operating technology companies. She is also a co-founder and managing director of the Phenomenelle Angels Fund , LP. Before founding SCIO Corp, Ms. Flanagan co-founded WebWare Corp, a pioneer in creating the digital asset management market, and served as WebWare's chairman and chief executive officer for seven years, where she raised approximately $20 million in equity capital. WebWare, one of the first Software as a Service (SaaS) companies, was acquired in 2003. Prior to WebWare, Ms. Flanagan co-founded four technology companies and consulted for high technology leaders including Apple, Atari, HP, IBM, Microsoft, NeXT, Texas Instruments and Xerox. A Springboard finalist in January 2000, Ms. Flanagan received Trailblazer Awards in 2000 and 2001 from the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs. She was awarded IT Software CEO of the Year for 2002 by leading analyst firm, Frost and Sullivan. BusinessWeek selected her as one of the Top 25 Angels in Tech in 2010 and Springboard Enterprises recognized her with their Northstar award in 2011. Ms. Flanagan is executive chairman at Current Motor Company, chairman of the board at HarQen Inc, and a board member at Springboard Enterprises and Michelle's Miracle Inc. Ms. Flanagan also serves on Dell's advisory board and on the Angel Capital Association's collaboration committee.
